Vinitaly was born in Italy, in Verona, but its vocation is international. For 55 years, it has been synonymous with the involvement of the entire global wine industry.
Claudio Quarta's oenological journey began in 2005 when he decided to leave the lab coat and the successful career as a pharmaceutical researcher and entrepreneur that had taken him to the United States with his pharmaceutical company listed on Nasdaq. He chose to become a winemaker in his South to produce wines that express the identity of the territories and the essence of their native grape varieties. He chose a life that represents his commitment to the community and love for beauty.Claudio Quarta oversees every phase of the supply chain, from the vineyard to entry into the markets. Great attention is given to sustainability, and technological modernity is the means to rediscover the authenticity of the wines that have shaped the history of the territories where the wineries stand.
19 years have passed since that decision, that profound change that would then engulf the entire Quarta family. "We have experienced countless adventures, deep challenges, lived good and less good years, but our goal has never wavered: to create quality to produce wines that excite and thus determine the growth of value in our Southern territories. 2007 was a year of great emotions with our first participation in Vinitaly. This year, we are ready to amaze you again and win your hearts!" - Alessandra Quarta
From 2007 onwards, each year has been marked by challenges and novelties.
Those who live on emotions continually create and recreate.
