Claudio Quarta Vignaiolo

Ecco la traduzione in inglese: The grand performance in Milan has ended: Rose as rebirth

Ercole Pignatelli Reinterprets Guernica at Palazzo Reale with a Touch of Salento Rosé

A Dialogue Between Art and History
Pignatelli has created a large canvas inspired by Guernica, painting live in front of the audience. The performance was a real dialogue between art and history, an opportunity to reflect on the tragedy of war and the power of hope.

Rose as a Symbol of Rebirth
A central element of the performance was the color pink. Pignatelli chose this color to symbolize rebirth and hope and shares with his friend Claudio Quarta the desire to add a symbol of hope and rebirth. Pink. the oldest color in the world. Found in deep rocks of West Africa, dating back 1.1 billion years ago, pink is linked to a fossil of a special chlorophyll, crucial for certain bacteria that have transformed carbon dioxide into oxygen, triggering life on Earth.

To celebrate rebirth and hope, Pignatelli decided to accompany his artistic work with Claudio Quarta Vignaiolo's "Rose" wine. The wine, a Negroamaro rosé, was offered as a gift to authorities and close friends at the conclusion of the event.

A Message of Peace and Hope
With his performance, Pignatelli wanted to send a message of peace and hope. His pink Guernica is an invitation not to forget the tragedy of war, but also to look to the future with confidence and hope.
