The wine is not purple

The Professor Viola competes with Peronospera in causing damage to the wine.

In the absence of the visibility gained with Covid, the "Professor" makes herself heard by shooting at wine. When in the article she refers to, the figure claims that even the WHO says that wine is harmful even in small quantities, so tolerance must be 0, she speaks of the WHO's position following data published by the prestigious Lancet journal in 2018. Data derived from a study by the international group Global Burden of Diseases, founded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in 2018. But in 2022, the same Lancet proposed a new work by the same Global Burden of Diseases, concluding that moderate consumption brings benefits in the 22 considered pathologies.

In particular, moderate wine consumption prolongs life, reduces the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cognitive disorders according to the so-called "J" curve: at low doses, the risk is reduced and then dramatically increases at high doses.

But what is not understood is why Viola attacks wine, a symbolic drink whose benefits reflect on the psyche and on family and social life, and which besides alcohol contains numerous beneficial substances, and does not attack, instead, the consumption of hard liquor or, worse still, as insidious, the deadly "energy drinks."

To this, we cannot respond and console ourselves with a toast with a glass of white wine, just as Viola does.
