Totò Rosso
A popular vine and a rare, sought-after one, like the double personality of the "Prince". Intense, deep and fresh, a different sip, outside the traditional canons. Project in collaboration with the A. De Curtis family.
SANPAOLO - CAMPANIA (Torrioni, Avellino), ITALY

Perched on a volcanic hill surrounded by vineyards and woods, it collects the legacy of a historical area and projects it into the future with a contemporary vision and language. It rises in the capital of Greco di Tufo DOCG in the heart of Irpinia, on a hilly ridge, to the right of the Sabato river. The grapes come from selected plots in the most suitable areas and are grown up to 700 meters above sea level, where the strong temperature range enhances its aroma. The soil is varied between clayey, calcareous, sandy and with ashes from Vesuvius.

Legend has it that a single forgotten vine was discovered among the ruins of Pontelatone, hence the name of the Casavecchia variety, found exclusively in the hills of northern Campania, prized for its earthy, tannic red wines. The Piedirosso, on the other hand, comes from volcanic soils, is deep ruby in color and full-bodied with soft tannins
Tasting notes and pairings

Ruby red color with violet reflections. The olfactory profile is drawn on notes of black cherries in jam, plums, licorice root, cardamom, pink pepper, cinnamon, cumin, roasted coffee beans. Clear alcoholic structure, well modulated by freshness and fruity mass. Balsamic and herbaceous finish. Pair with lasagna and meat rolls with vegetables.
